Dan Castell on a club trip to Chinamans Gulch decided to attempt the climb on the left side of Whale Rock. We have seen many try and most who made it found it necessary to have individuals hang off the front in an effort to keep from rolling over. We even saw someone roll backwards, just to be stopped by their spare tire. Here Dan makes it seem easy, despite the steepness, the snow and not to mention the ice.
