Fins and Things Trail Moab Utah.
Fins and Things 4x4 off road Trail is a 3.5 rated trail. It is just east of town and is in the Sand Flats Recreation Area. There is a fee of five dollars to use the area and it is money well spent. The trail is aproximately 9.5 miles and takes 3 to 4 hours. Following the trail is easy the REd Rock Wheelers have painted Stegasaurs on the rocks to guide you.

Airing down at the begining of the trail.

Gene leads the way down the first fin. The trail wastes no time getting you to an obstacle.

Dan and Rachel do the fin.

Sam gets his first taste of slickrock.

Don and Joan ease down the fin.

Ryan climbs the next fin just a few feet away.

Dean climbs the fin.

Mark climbs the fin as the tail gunner this time without Sherri who had to stay at the motel.<

Just a quick look at the surrounding hills.

Dan and Rachel go over a thing.

Sam does the same thing.

When it comes to climbing there is nothing like slickrock.

Believe it or not these climbs are made without lockers and hardly a chirp or the tires.

A beautiful day on lots of slickrock.

As usual we stop for lunch at someplace with a view.

With lunch over we continue on.

Still are a few climbs left.

Not to mention a few downhills.
A fun trail with almost a continous supply of obstacles. None of the obstacle are extremely hard but all are fun. We all completed the trail with no breakage and had a great time.
