Steel Bender jeep trail is a 3.5 to 4 rated trail. We decided to do Steel Bender on Sunday Morning May 8 and had 11 jeeps on the trail. To get to the trail take 191 south to the 118 mile marker and turn left than right onto Spanish Valley Drive. Turn left on the access road to Ken's Lake proceed past the lake and up the hill go past the cattle guard and look for the Steel Bender sign immediately after taking a right.
The Steel Bender sign you will see.

Gary and Susan crossing the creek that you have to cross at the beginning of the trail.

After we crossed the creek we got a close up look at Lorne's hover craft. Well its not really a hover craft but with the transmission cooler mounted on the hood it looks like one. The day before Lorne and Paul had a over heating problem so they decided they would get more fresh air with this configuration and it worked.
