Seven Mile Rim Trail Moab Utah
Seven Mile Rim Trail is reached by traveling north on 191 and making a left on a gravel road 0.6 miles past 313. Trail rating 3.5 on a 1 to 5 scale. This trail was run on Monday, before we had to make the drive back to Denver, so we decided to only run half the trail.
The beautiful scenery and shorter distances between obstacles made this a very enjoyable trail run.

You know you're there when you see this sign.

Mark coming down one of the first obstacles.

This was a nice ledge for Roy's unlifted Jeep.

There's a nice little parking lot, partially in the shade, for a nice place to take in an awsome sight, Unranium Arch.

Mark on a trail typical obstacle.

Some of the spectacular secenery typical in Moab.

Just before 'The Squeeze', there's a section that gets pretty tippy, with a moderatly challanging bypass, if you so choose.

Gene, Mark and Roy posing at the top of 'Wipe Out Hill'. If you think this looks cool, you should take a look from the top down.
This is a very large, cool obstacle, with a couple different lines to challange many drivers abilities.

Mark just beginning the decent down the very top on the easier side.

Roy on the ledge at the bottom of the easier side.

And on this day, Gene decides to run his TJ. Probably because he tired of his CJ and his Army Jeep. Why else?

35's and a 4 to 1, make this too easy for Gene.

Roy and Mark decide to take a run up the easier side. Roy really wishes he had a 4 to 1 for this one.

Mark on the way up the bottom.

And, down the top.

Through the bottom.

This all bored Gene, so he takes a jaunt up the left, more difficult side. Roy actually thought about this until he saw how much work it was for Gene with his 35's.

After a couple attempts, he puts it up on the top ledge.

That was nothing.'You know how things can be coming down.
We were running short on time, as we had to get heading back to Denver. So this half way point through Seven Mile Rim was a good place to duck out and head back to town. After a steep sand hill climb, its a ways down dirt roads to get out.
