I'm from Washington state (still technically live there) but I'm in Colorado Springs until October for work. I would love to do some trail rides in the area on my days off, but I'm a newbie to both the region and to Jeeps in general - I got my '08 JK X (2-door) in January and haven't had a chance to do much of anything with it other than pavement-driving and a bit of unpaved-road coming down from Casper Mountain in Wyoming. My Jeep is currently all-stock, and like I said I am new to this whole off-road thing, so I'm looking for something that would be fairly easy - at least at first. I've looked at the dates for some of the upcoming events and many of them fall in my days off, I just don't know how prepared my Jeep is for them. Any help or tips would be great!
